Addison Foods Transportation Services began operations as a freight brokerage company in January 1998 at the corporate office in Addison, TX. Kevin Kokjohn, Traffic Manager for Addison Foods, Inc. since 1987 was the first employee. After 25 years of managing the freight brokerage, Kevin retired on 11/01/2023
In December 2007 Addison Foods Transportation Services changed its authority name to Addison Transportation.
In May 2008 Addison Transportation was designated by the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) as a Platinum Performance Program (P3).
